Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

“Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” is an initiative by the Government of India aimed at promoting unity in diversity across the nation. Under this campaign, different states and union territories are paired for cultural, social, and economic exchanges. The main objective is to preserve and spread India’s cultural heritage and diversity, fostering mutual understanding, respect, and solidarity among its citizens.

As part of this program, cultural exchange events are organized in schools, colleges, and other educational institutions, where students get the opportunity to learn about the language, attire, cuisine, and traditions of different states. Additionally, there is an exchange of arts, music, literature, and historical heritage between the states.

The goal of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” is to create an environment where, despite diversity, all citizens feel united and proud of their nation. This initiative not only encourages the rich cultural heritage of India but also strengthens the unity and integrity of the country, helping India progress toward the vision of becoming a “Shreshtha Bharat” or “Great India.”
